Golf to support the South Cariboo Health Foundation at the Hit a Ball for Health! fun golf tournament, June 23

Have fun golfing and help support the South Cariboo Health Foundation at the Hit a Ball for Health! fun golf tournament, June 23.

Tee-off is at 2 p.m. at the 108 Resort Golf Club and you don’t have to be a great golfer to get in on the mountain of prizes.

It’s a Texas scramble team event and Lynda Lewis, health foundation board member, says everyone who participates should win something.

There will be prizes for the top 3 teams, most honest team, long drive, long putt, closest to the pin and many random draws.

Everyone who plays will also have his or her name entered into a draw for a barbecue valued at $500, she adds.

“There’s other games and events going on all day too and it should be a lot of fun.”

The cost to enter is $55 per person or $85 per couple and that covers nine holes of golf, a barbecue lunch and prizes.

To reserve a spot, call the 108 Golf Resort pro shop at 250-791-5212.
