Summerland Ladies Club
On Sept., 11, the Summerland Golf and Country Club hosted the Ladies four-ball invitational scramble.
There were 34 teams competing, with 10 teams from Summerland and 24 teams from across the Okanagan Valley)
Summerland winners: First Sydney Clement, Erin Clement, Jenna Denton, Renee Gillar, net 60.1; second Jackie Clement, Danielle Riley, Jodie Brennan, Linda Angstadt, net 61.4; eighth Janice Goll, Barb Oleschuk, Jan McLeod, Kathy Larkin, net 63.60; 10th Diana Leitch, Chris Haessig, Frances Colussi, Gill Lynge, net 64.2; 13th Lil Smith, Val Eibner, Marilyn Tamblyn, Linda Palmer, net 64.7.
The Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club competed in match play to determine the winner of the Presidents Cup.
The contest was played over four months this summer.
Results: A side first Vi Ward; runner up Helen Pybus; B side first Vijai Vaagen; runner up Ellen Clay.
