Summerland Ladies Club
On Tuesday, Oct. 9, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played “Bingo Bango Bongo” in addition to the Turkey Shoot.
The Turkey Shoot is a low net competition and the prize is a turkey. The winner was Vi Ward.
Results for Bingo Bango Bongo are:
First flight: First Pat Gartrell, 23; second Helen Pybus, 21; third Lil Smith 19.
Second flight: First Diana Leitch, 21; second Maribel Rothfield, 20.
The Ladies Club will windup this season with a nine-hole competition Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. It will be a shot gun start with lunch at 12 or 12:30 p.m. There will be a meeting to follow lunch. If the weather is inclement, the meeting will be held at 10 a.m. with lunch to follow.
On Tuesday, Oct. 16, the club held its windup lunch and meeting.
Sponsors are the Summerland Review, the Summerland Rental centre, Dot Foreman families, Summerland and District Credit Union, CIBC, Melissa Ganzeveld and the members of the media who published our results each week throughout the summer.
The nine-hole game was scored low net.

Second flight: First Pat Stohl, 73; second (tie) Helen Benallick and Barb Oleschuk, 75.
