Golf season winding down for club play

Men's and women's club play coming to a close soon

Thirty golfers attended Ladies Night at Marmot Ridge Golf Course on Sept. 5.

Rene Zelt had the low score, while Tamara Van Loon carded the high score.

Long-drive and closest-to-the-pin (KP) prizes went to Diane Matlock, Terri Livingston, Kathy Reid, Dorothy White, Leena Lautrup, Lynda Lewis, Arlene Jongbloets, Deanna Oenema and Betty Warman.

Twenty-one golfers showed up for Men’s Night on Sept. 6.

Handicap division

Karam Parsad shot a 34 and took first low gross, while Bruce Findlay had 31 for the low-net prize.

Long-drive and KP prizes went to Parsad, Roger Hood, Tom Lavigne, and Richard Rabey.

Callaway division

Todd Poirier took first low gross in a countback with Rabey who had to settle for second low gross. Both men shot 39s.

Long-drive and KP prizes went Poirier, Jack Comack, Pete Leslie and Marc Dufour.
