Vernon’s Devon Hascarl provided three helpers as the Revelstoke Grizzlies shaded the North Okanagan Knights 5-4 Friday night at the Forum.

The Grizzlies went to 5-10-0-2 in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. The Knights, who host the Princeton Posse today (3 p.m.) at Nor-Val Sports Centre, dipped to 8-7-0-1.

Matt MacDonald, Matt Lucero, Coleton Dawson, Tre Mason and Kohl Bell scored for Revelstoke, who outshot the Knights 35-34 with Vernon’s Aaron Brandoli backstopping the win.

Blake Culbert, Logan Geefs, Cole Robin and Blaine Caton replied for the Knights, who trailed 2-1 and 4-2 by period scores.

Geefs and Caton each added one assist in support of Zach Dyment.

Vernon products Chad Thomas and Kenny Batke were also in the Grizzlies’ lineup. Lyle Hinds of Vernon refereed the game.
