A flat second period was the death of the Victoria Grizzlies on Tuesday night. The Powell River Kings played an equally safe second period but were able to convert their chances and took a 2-0 lead, ending the game with a 4-1 win.

It’s been do-or-die for Powell River since the Grizzlies went ahead 3-1 in the Coastal Conference semifinal series with a 5-2 win on Saturday.

Now, for the first time this season, it’s do-or-die for the Grizzlies.

Game 7 goes tonight at 7 p.m. in Powell River and is broadcast on the Village 900 with play-by-play call by Scott Didmon.
