Oak Bay tumbler Isobel Neilson was among those contributing to a successful start to the 2016-2017 competitive season for Falcon Gymnastics.
Nineteen Junior Olympic levels 3, 4 and 5 gymnasts travelled to the Comox Valley to compete in the Pyjama Party Invitational meet. Neilson, competing in JO 4, earned silver on bars and eighth all around.
The team earned 11 gold medals with two athletes taking home first place all around medals.
Fellow Falcon gymnast and Oak Bay resident Ava Stewart competes in JO 7 this year and is currently training for provincials in April.
