Members of the Cariboo Chilcotin Gymnastics Association were in top form May 13-14 for the Prince George Invitational gymnastics meet.
Their last meet of the competitive season, coach Annie Glanville said it was a great effort.
“I’m extremely proud of how much these girls have improved at every meet,” Glanville said.
“I admire their dedication to gymnastics and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next year.”
In the Junior Olympic 1 division it was Marajade Goertz in first place in a field of 10 gymnasts. Following closely behind was Allysia Irawan in second.
Goertz was second in vault, first in bars, first on beam and first on floor, while Irawan finished with seconds on vault, bars and beam, and third on floor.
In the Junior Olympic 3 category Kalli Campbell flipped her way to a third-place finish after taking third on vault, second on beam, first on floor and 10th on bars.
Nya Chutskoff, meanwhile, was 13th in the division with her strongest result coming in her floor routine, where she placed sixth overall.
Also in Junior Olympic 1 for gymnasts born in 2008, Kate Altwasser placed fifth after finishing sixth in vault, third on bars, fourth on beam and third on floor.
