The 86th annual Hankey Cup took place last weekend at the Kalamalka Lake and Country Club. Eleven Salmon Arm Tennis Club members participated and results were as follows:
• Men’s A Doubles semi-finalists: Bob Langford and Doug Holman (Vancouver);
• Men’s A Doubles semi-finalists: Winston Pain and Paul Morgan (Vernon);
• Ladies’ B Doubles finalists (2nd place): Judith Heunis and Cynthia Langford;
• Ladies’ B Doubles semi-finalists: Supha Phonchiangkwang and Marianne VanBuskirk.
The following teams missed the finals but had excellent, competitive matches:
• Men’s A Doubles: Ian McHarg and Doug Rawson;
• Mixed A Doubles: Ken Hecker and Shannon Hecker;
• Mixed A Doubles: Ian McHarg and Supha Phonchiangkwang;
• Mixed B Doubles: Chad Hare and Marianne VanBuskirk.
