You can never tell with Sooke weather. Despite pouring rain, eight intrepid hikers turned out for the first of the monthly hikes sponsored by the Juan de Fuca Parks & Recreation Commission guided by the Juan de Fuca Community Trails Society. The hikers were rewarded by brilliant sunshine, spring flowers, vivid mosses and panoramic views.
