Hooded Merganser Hitters and the Beta Blockers are the champs of the beach from the South Okanagan Volleyball Association summer season.
The Hooded Merganser Hitters took the C Division and were first in the standings heading into the playoffs. The Beta Blockers were second going in.
The finals, played at the Skaha Beach volleyball courts, took place on Aug. 29 following three weeks of playoff action. Teams moved on after winning their respective best-of-three matches.
SOVA will now begin its Fall League on Sept. 19. Registration for that league closed on Sept. 1.
