Hoggards roll zone titles

Tyra ruled the Senior Girls (ages 15-19) division at Zone single finals Tuesday at Capri Valley Lanes in Kelowna. She rolled 219-228-303-213-153 (1,116) in the five-game scratch format event.

She was followed by Erin Sakamoto (1,061) in second place and Kaitlyn Milsted (938) in fourth.

Keith racked up 1,229 (243-289-255-180-262) to claim the Senior Boys class.

Tyce Koenig counted a 1,210 for second place, Kevyn Hoggard was third with 1,191 and Levi Smith took seventh with 1,041.

In Junior Girls action, Tess Nuyens rolled second place with a 1,007, and Megan Teagle was fifth with 833. On the boys side, Adam Fiset collected 878 points for fourth place, followed closely by Tyler Droder with 876 in fifth.

Vida Rivet finished at 631 for third in the Bantam Girls division, while Colby Eisenhauer fired a 781 for third in the boys group. He was followed by Michael Hoyland (695) in fourth place.

Provincial winners advance to YBC nationals, in Vancouver, in May.
