Maple Ridge peewee clubs champions in local spring tournament

The Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association hosted the Home Town Hockey Hero Spring Rep Tournament from March 14 to 17 over the weekend.

The event saw 46 teams participating in eight different divisions.

The clubs travelled from as far away as Idaho, Oregon and Alberta to attend the tournament.

The Champions of each division were:

Peewee Tier 2        Ridge Meadows Peewee A2 Rustlers

Peewee Tier 3        Campbell River Peewee Tyees

Peewee Tier 4        Ridge Meadows Peewee A4 Rustlers

Bantam Tier 2        Portland Bantam Jr. Hawks

Bantam Tier 3        Ridge Meadows Bantam A3 Rustlers

Bantam Tier 4        Abbotsford Bantam A4 Hawks

Midget Tier 2        Powell River Midget T2 Kings

Midget Tier 3       Surrey Midget A3 Lightning
