Dylan Ferguson and the Kamloops Blazers put a stop to the Kelowna Rockets’ WHL winning streak on Wednesday night.
Ferguson stopped 46 shots and Garrett Pilon scored twice to lead the Blazers to a 5-1 win over the Rockets at the Sandman Centre.
The Blazers took the backend of a home-and-home set between the B.C. Division rivals, ending Kelowna’s win streak at four games.
The Rockets won 3-2 over Kamloops on Tuesday night at Prospera Place.
Kamloops led 1-0 and 2-1 by periods, putting the game away with three goals in the third.
Nolan Foote, with his ninth goal of the season on the power play, scored the lone goal for the Rockets.
Brodan Salmond stopped 20 shots for the Rockets who outshot Kamloops 47-25.
The Rockets (23-13-2-0) return to action Friday at home to the Victoria Royals.
