The Nelson Brewers crafted a championship last weekend.
The minor baseball team defeated the Trail Mariners 10-8 in the final to cap an undefeated run at the Castlegar Sunfest Minors Tournament.
The team beat the Castlegar Stealers 10-4, the Castlegar Royals 10-9 and the Castlegar Raptors 12-7. The Brewers beat the Raptors again in the semifinals, this time 6-4, before going on to play the Mariners.
The Brewers are perfect to start their season with a 12-0 record.
