Beaver Valley Nitehawks forward Dylan Heppler tallied three assists in a 4-1 victory over the Kimberley Dynamiters on Friday.
The victory gives the Hawks a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five Kootenay Conference final.
Game 2 goes tonight at the B.V. Arena with the puck drop at 7 p.m.
