ISKF Master Camp 2016

Port Hardy Sensei's Jen and Ivan DeToro have travelled to Philadelphia to take part in the Master Camp.

The ISKF Master Camp 2016 is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will be hosting Masters instructors and students of Karate from around the world.  Port Hardy will be proudly represented by Sensei Ivan DeToro and Sensei Jennifer DeToro.

Master camp offers many unique experiences, from early morning runs, classes and technical seminars, to meeting the top martial artists in the world. It is also the only time that Karate Instructors can test to obtain their official instructor certification. Very few Dojo instructors receive their official International Karate Instructor certification.

We are very fortunate here in Port Hardy to Have Sensei Ivan DeToro, sixth Degree Black belt, who has already completed his level one International Instructors certification.

At the ISKF Master Camp 2016, Sensei Ivan DeToro will be grading for his next level International Instructors certification, and Sensei Jennifer DeToro will also be grading for her first level International Instructor certification, as well as her Sixth Degree Black belt.

The Bushido Shotokan Karate-do Academy is very proud of our instructors and what they have accomplished, but even more important is how dedicated they are to teaching and living the principles of Shotokan Karate-do.
