For 30 years, the top graduating high-school basketball players on Vancouver Island have met in an all-star format for an end of season game.
That tradition continues with the 30th annual Vancouver Island Seniors Classic High-School Basketball All-Star Games at UVic’s CARSA Performance Gym this Saturday, April 8.
The one-day feature is known to have scouts in the seats from B. C. colleges and university’s looking to fill out their rosters for the upcoming varsity season.
This year’s all-star day starts with the boys B game at 3 p. m.
The Island’s top girls follow with a 4:45 p. m. tipoff, then the boys A game at 6:30 p. m.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students, which includes a program. UVic’s full concession will be available during all three games.
