In January of 2016, Jean-Aimé Bigirimana (also known as DJ JaBig), began a journey from his hometown of Montreal, to the coast of Newfoundland, then back across Canada on his way to the Arctic Ocean on a fixed-gear bicycle — a year-long, 15,000-kilometre journey in extreme Canadian weather.
He passed through Williams Lake Wednesday on his way to setting a Guinness World Record. JaBig said he normally tries to escape Canadian winters as best he can, however, this year, decided he wanted to try something epic.
