Fulton shut out PVSS Saints 3-0 Thursday, two days after blanking the VSS Panthers 4-0 in North Zone senior girls soccer.
Aryana Jacura scored first against PVSS off a rebound cross from Erin Sakamoto, who also managed to soar a shot over the keeper’s fingertips off of a free kick just outside the 18.
Morgan Binns buried one from a penalty kic, awarded after a hand bal in the 18.
The Maroons got bold defence from centre backs Lee Richardson and Sam Orr.
Jacura pulled the hat trick and set up Orr for another goal in the win over VSS. Fulton dominated play, making it an easy shutout for Brittany Skrenek. Striker Cherish Ayers enjoyed several scoring opportunities.
The playoff semifinals go Tuesday with the finals Thursday.
