The Salmon Arm Women’s Recreational Hockey Fun League will start Oct. 19, and registration is now open. Games will be held on Monday nights from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. at the Shaw Centre. Players sign up individually and are placed on a team based on skill level. All women aged 18 and up who can skate are invited to come out to play. The emphasis of the league is to have fun, develop hockey skills, get some exercise, and enjoy some social time with fellow players.
