Believe it or not shredheads, Forbidden Plateau still has 10 feet of snow and JumpCamp is taking full advantage of it by adding a bonus session this Saturday, April 23.

JumpCamp is an all ages and abilities snowboard camp on Forbidden Plateau for riders who want to have fun and progress their skills. There will be prizes for everyone from the sponsors, barbecue, jumps, tunes, jibs and more, organizers say.

Shredders of all ages and skill levels come check out what JumpCamp is all about for only $55. “If you missed out on a JumpCamp session or just want to brush up on your skills one last time this is it,” said coach Matt Trigg. “No matter if you’re a beginner or a super-shred, we can teach you the skills to go to the next level,” he added.

The Jam includes professional instruction in the private JumpCamp snowboard park and product giveaways from the sponsors. The Jam runs Saturday April 23 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Helmets are mandatory and riders under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. Registration takes place at Onethirtythree board shop (250-8897-1907), online at www.jumpcamp.com or up Forbidden Plateau from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

“Grab your sunscreen, shred stick, your friends and come join us in the private Forbidden Plateau shred playground this Saturday for the Easter JumpCamp Jam,” an event spokesperson said.
