Parksville’s Katie Stagg won a bronze at the BC Winter Games in Vernon last week.
She performed her personal best to place third in the Vault competition. Stagg was representing Zone 6 on the gymnastics team and is a Grade 8 student at Springwood Middle School who competes in the Level 3 Division.
Stagg’s teammate and sister Cassidy Stagg, a Grade 9 student at Ballenas Secondary School, also represented Zone 6. Cassidy competed in the Level 4 Division and finished a very respectable fourth place overall.
