Kelowna karate dojo back from Abbotsford event

Good event for the local dojo in adults and kids categories

Kelowna Karate Dojo and Fitness returned from the Abbotsford Karate Traditional Championships last weekend and every student won a medal as the dojo placed 1st overall in the standings in the competition that included  regional and international level competitors.

“It was fantastic results from our students at the competition and for many this is just the start of the year,” said Paul Atkin. “For Kelowna Karate and Fitness dojo to place 1st overall demonstrates the balance in the members training to create a well rounded (athlete) that wins in their kata, and kumite (sparring).”

Kelowna Karate Dojo and Fitness competitors placed first overall with 10 gold medals, nine silvers and nine bronze.
