KidSport 100 Mile House (KOMH) recently got a shot in the arm from Canlan Ice Sports in the form of $1,817.46, which were proceeds from its South Cariboo Mega Show held in May.

KidSport helps cover sports program registration costs for children whose parents may face financial obstacles.

Last year, the local organization granted more than $8,000 to 55 recipients involved in soccer, hockey, figure skating, judo and softball.

John Benastick, treasurer for KOMH, says the organization is need of someone who can take over his position and would like to hear from anyone who can help out. He can be reached at 250-395-8225.
