This past Sunday, May 28 Kimberley Golf Club hosted the EK Junior Golf Tour from 9a.m. to 12 noon.
There were three categories of competition ranging from ages six to sixteen. In the first category, ages six to nine, the competitors played just over nine holes. In first place was Decklan Andrews who shot a gross score of 57. In second place came Easton Roberts, who shot 66.
In the second category, ages 10 to 13, they played 18 holes and in first place was Ethan Andrews who shot 88. In second place came Ethan Reid who shot 99.
In the third category, ages 14 to 16, they played 18 holes and in first place was Nathan Nichol who shot 80, while Aaron Grist was a close second at 81.
The Kimberley Golf Club will be hosting their own Kimberley Junior Open, better known as the Ken Smith Tournament, on Sunday, June 18. To register call the Pro Shop at 250-427-4161.
