The Kimberley Seahorse Swim Club is off to a great start with 54 swimmers currently registered. On May 27 and 28, 14 swimmers including Coach, Jackson Sorenson represented the team atthe first meet of the season in Trail. Congratulations to all the swimmers. There were many great race moments and several top 3 placements including:
Division One
Cliff Jarvis placed third in the 50 free swim.
Division Three
Brooklyn Burki placed first in each event; 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 free and 100 IM.
Division Four
Trent Walkley placed first in three events; 100 free, 50 free and 200 IM and placed third in 50 fly.
Division Five
Georgia McKinnon placed third in both 100 free and 100 breast.
Kyle Dobi placed first in 50 free and 100 back, while placing second in 200 IM.
Division Six
Morgan Dobi placed First in 200 IM and second in 100 Fly.
Bianca Marina placed third in 100 breast.
Quaid Anderson placed first in 100 Fly and second in 50 free and 50 fly.
Jeremy Woods placed first in 200 IM and second in 100 breast.
Division Seven
Chloe Luke placed first in 100 back and 200 IM, and placed second in both 100 free and 100 breast.
Jackson Sorensen placed first in each event; 100 back, 100 breast and 100 fly.
The team competes in Nelson on June 3 and 4 and they are looking forward to another great meet!
