The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) announced individual award winners for the Female Prep Division and Female Varsity Division at an Awards Ceremony during the 2017 CSSHL Female Championships at Edge School.
Campbell River’s Olivia Knowles, playing at the Okanagan Hockey Academy, was named Top Defenceman in the Female Prep Division. Despite missing five games, Knowles finished in a tie for most points among blue-liners with 18. Knowles will attend University of Minnesota this fall.
