Ladies’ biking group set to cycle

With the cross-country ski season behind them, some female members of the 100 Mile Nordics Club will be hopping on their bikes and pedalling through the off-season.

They are inviting other women to join them in weekly rides, which will take place each Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Trails will be suitable for all fitness levels.

Rides commence at the 108 Heritage Site and will give participants an opportunity to meet other female cyclists, explore new, easy trails and get some exercise.

The first ride is scheduled for May 5 and people are asked to be at the meeting point by 5:15 p.m. These are drop-in rides and riders participate at their own risk.
