Women looking to improve their skills on the hill can check out the Ladies Only Ski/Board Workshop being offered at Mt. Timothy later this month.
The workshop, scheduled for Feb. 25 and 26, is designed for women ages 16 and older who would like to improve their skills, ride with other women with similar skill levels, be guided to the best places to ski on the hill and learn skills to maneuver any terrain.
The workshop is open to snowboarders as well as alpine and telemark skiers.
Check-in time will be 8:30 a.m. in the lodge. Cost of the two day workshop is $125 for both days or $83 for one day, with lift tickets sold at 50 per cent off.
Instructors will be Marie Navratil, Lexi Hamm and Kierra Johnson.
