There were 20 ladies out for Ladies Night on May 25 and 15 of us played the back nine fun game of “trees, traps and ponds.”
We will have to wait until next week to find out who racked up all the points. There were more tree targets this week due to all the blowdown from the Tuesday night storm. Amazingly there were no trees across the fairways or on the greens.
The winners from the May 18 Ladies Night are: Flight#1: Deanna Pendergast – low gross and long drive in 2; Tanya Dejarlais – low net; Marg Anderson – long drive; Carol Hindle – long putt.
Flight #2: Jayna Jung – low gross, long drive; Korinne Isbister – low net; Joan Slingsby – long drive in 2; Larissa Hadely – long putt.
Flight #3: Rose Harley – low gross, long drive, long drive in 2; Carol McNeil – long putt.
Tanya, Jayna and Rose won the fun game of “ONES” which is the best score on holes 1,9,8,7 and 6 for each flight. There were no KP’s on holes 5 or 7. No one managed to sink a ball into the pond either.
Jane Olson had the least putts and Jean Nelson was the most honest putter. Larissa had a fantastic chip in on hole #8 and the Birdie Pot is carried over to the next week.
Please note that the shotgun start will be at 4:30 p.m. on June 1. Call Carol (674-8771) or Jane (587-6290) if you have any questions about Ladies Night.
