Lakers boys volleyball team finishes 18th

The Pen High Lakers senior boys volleyball team placed fourth in pool play at the Big Kahuna B.C. Championships.

The Pen High Lakers senior boys volleyball team placed 18th in the Big Kahuna B.C. championships Friday.

The Lakers finished fourth in pool play after facing Kilarney, Claremont and Delta. The Lakers opened play today by defeating David Thompson in straight sets 25-21 and 25-22.

The Lakers faced Elgin Park in the match for 17th place, they lost 25-20 and 25-14.

Kelowna and Semiahmoo are playing for the championship at 5 p.m.
