The Langley-based Vancouver Stealth (4-6) are back on the road for the first time since Week 8, when they visit the Colorado Mammoth (6-4) on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 6 p.m.
Heading into Week 11 action, Colorado has won four of its last five games, including a victory over the Stealth exactly one month ago.
In their previous meeting the Mammoth scored a late goal in the fourth quarter to tie the game and won it in overtime inside the Langley Events Centre.
Colorado is led by Callum Crawford who is tied for fourth in league scoring.
“As a team, we are looking to get better each week. Last week, we realized we needed to re-focus on ourselves and re-examine our game day process,” said Stealth captain Curtis Hodgson.
“We will be building on those aspects of our game this week to prepare for another strong divisional opponent,” he said.
The road has been kind to Vancouver this season.
Currently, 75 per cent of their total wins have come away from home, including a 15-9 victory over the Mammoth in Week 2.
In game one of the season against Colorado, Rhys Duch and Corey Small combined for eight goals, 9 assists, and 17 points.
The duo continues to lead the way for the Stealth on the offensive side of the ball.
Duch has 20 goals, 29 assists and 49 points in nine games.
While Small sits atop of the league in scoring with 27 goals, 39 assists, and 66 points in 10 games.
“My teammates always set me up for the best opportunities possible, so right now, I am playing with a lot of confidence,” Small said.
“We have three guys right at the top of league in scoring, so it’s tough for the defence to key in on just one player.”

The Stealth will be back home on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, when they host the Buffalo Bandits on a rare Friday home game at the Langley Events Centre.
