The Langley Bantam C4 Traktors captured their fourth tournament gold win while competing in the annual Shuswap Cup.
The tournament was held in Salmon Arm and Sicamous from March 3 to 5, hosted by the Salmon Arm Minor Hockey Association.
Traktors swept through the pool stage relying on a disciplined, relentless attack, making paupers of the Kelowna Kings 8-2 in the first game, then revealing the dark side of a belligerent Salmon Arm Saints squad 6-3.
In their third game of the pool stage, Traktors followed the rainbow, caught the little fellows, and took their gold, beating the Kamloops Leprechauns by the unlucky score of 13-0.
In the semi-final Traktors mulched the Kelowna Leafs, 7-3.
In the Shuswap Cup Gold Medal Game, the Langley Traktors battled the hometown Salmon Arm Legends, winning 6-1.
