Two Langley wrestlers have joined the 22-member squad that will represent British Columbia at the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.
Pritpaul Johal is part of the 11-person men’s team and Ana Godinez is one of the 11 women on the team.
“We plan to work hard this summer in order to showcase the talent that we have in our province,” said men’s coach John Pineda.
“This is one of the most talented groups of high school women wrestlers that we have ever seen in this province,” said women’s coach Danielle Lappage. “We have only the highest of expectations for them and don’t doubt that they will all shine at the games.”
