Three rinks pulled out exciting last-end heroics as Haney Masters play began its winter session at Golden Ears Curling Club.

Behind 5-2 by the end of the second end, Tom Little’s rink of Dave Bradley, Jock Anderson and Ron Smith clawed back to salvage a 6-6 tie with Terry Gregory, winning skip in the Fall session.

Gregory’s rink of Max Albrechtsen, Gary Sawatsky and Ian Strachan are undefeated with three straight wins.

Jim Keenan, along with Russell Patience, John Jacobs and Morris Achtemichuk also picked up a 6-4 victory in the final end over the rink of William Menkveld, Jack Flottorp, Rod Matlock and Bob MacKay.

The rink of Eric Holler (skip), Kent Skene (third), Les Hall (second) and Lorne Fletcher (lead) held off the Peter England rink in the last end to grab a narrow 7-5 win. Bill Seminoff, Chris English and Paul Darbyshire, along with England, could not penetrate the guards giving up a point.
