Folks can take advantage of early and twilight rates

Dust off your golf clubs, the greens are waiting.

Marmot Ridge

Marmot Ridge Golf Course on Exeter Station Road is open for all golfers.

“We are open at 10 a.m., right now, manager Sherri Burke says, adding the course will open earlier as the weather permits.”

Right now, folks can get unlimited golf at Marmot for $17 plus tax a day.

Men’s night is already started. It’s held on Thursdays and tee-offs are any time after 4 p.m. The cost for golf and prizes is $22 and some of the men do a dinner for an extra $10.

Ladies night is slated to begin on May 11, says Burke, and the cost for golf and prizes is $20. The ladies have a shotgun start at 5:30 p.m.

108 Golf Resort

Pro-shop manager Nick Wright says 108 Golf Resort at 4816 Telqua Dr., in 108 Mile Ranch is open for business.

“We’re here at 9 a.m., and at the moment, close when the last golfers are off the course.

“Our Ladies and Mens’ night will start the first week in May.”

Ladies night is on Tuesdays and starts on May 3, and Men’s night is on Wednesdays and start on May 4. The nights are usually for members only; however, there are guest rates available, says Wright.

Cost for a round of golf is $45 and there is a twilight fee for $30 after 3 p.m. Golf carts are available for rental.

The first big tournament is the Divorce Open on June 4-5.
