The host Langley squad came up short in their quest to hoist the championship trophy.
The Langley Mini 8 All-Stars fell to Little Mountain in Monday’s gold-medal game as the Langley Baseball Association hosted an eight-team tournament for eight-year-olds June 30 to July 3 at City Park.
In addition to Langley, teams from Coquitlam, Lynn Valley, Jericho, Whalley, Dunbar and Hastings took part.
