Mac Bros Basketball Camp is back in Courtenay for its 10th consecutive summer.  Youth basketball players of any skill level are invited to come and enjoy the fun from July 11-15.

Coaches Scott and Ryan MacKinnon are ecstatic to be back for another week of basketball.

“We are excited to come back for our 10th straight year in the Comox Valley,” commented Scott, who this past year has been teaching and coaching basketball for Fastbreak Basketball Academy in Singapore.

“This camp is the highlight of my summer,” said Ryan, who has been the athletics director at an international school in the Philippines for the past two years. “We pride ourselves on providing an opportunity for campers to learn the fundamentals of the game, meet new friends and of course have fun.”

Coach Rusty MacKinnon returns after completing his fourth year teaching and coaching in Shanghai, China. Rusty will be bringing heaps of energy and new fun activities for the camp this summer.

Coach Noah Lewis, who just finished his third year playing basketball at Mount Royal University, will be back with his coaching expertise and vibrant personality.

The camp will have the six- to nine-year-olds at Aspen Elementary from 9-11:30 a.m., 10-13-year-olds from 12:30-3 p.m. and the 14-17-year-olds from 3:30-6 p.m., both at Mark Isfeld Secondary.
