The Maple Ridge Royals double A midget team won a league championship, with a regular season record of 14-4-1 followed by a playoff record of  3-1.

They faced Mission in the finals, and won 15-5 in five innings. Hayden Tupper launched a home run out of Albion ball park to mercy Mission.

Most of the damage was done in the second inning, when Ridge scored 10 runs. Tupper hit a double and Cody Lidstone and Darren Bayer had triples in that rally.

The team was coached by Steve Skipper and Mark Tupper.

The roster: Devon Draper, Clayton Skipper, Hayden Tupper, Matthew Trulsen, Cody Lidstone, Spencer Ignatieff, Ian Sheridan, Darren Bayer, Ryan Borys, Daniel Levene, Karim Elchaar, Kohl Puffer, Emily Kozlik, and Jackson Wakabyashi.
