Dale Olson’s Maroons ambushed the Revelstoke Avalanche 107-47, while Glenn Garvie’s Panthers iced the Charles Bloom Timberwolves 92-36.

Sanjay Dhand drained 24 points and Mike Rouault rung up 22 to spark Fulton, who open the South Okanagan Hornets Invitational this morning against the Kelowna Christian Knights.

The Maroons, should they defeat the Knights, will likely battle the Hornets in second-round play tonight.

Fulton stuffed the Valleyview Vikings 71-51 (Rouault 32 points, Tye Kitzman 17) and lost a 78-74 thriller to South Okanagan (Kitzman 25, Rouault 23 points and 15 rebounds) in tournament play last weekend in Kamloops.

The Panthers, who took the Pinetree Timberwolves tournament last weekend in Coquitlam, got 31 points from John Garvie and 28 from Mitchell Pepper versus Bloom.

The annual VSS Senior Girls PIT Classic opens next Friday featuring some of the top teams from around the province.
