he Mazda Peewee Chiefs finished fifth out of eight teams in their home tournament with a record of 2-2. The Chiefs won their first game against Powell River 3-0 and their final game against island rivals Cowichan Valley 6-2.
The losses were to Semiahmoo and the eventual winners of the tournament North Delta, who defeated Cloverdale 2-0 in the final. The Peewee Chiefs are now preparing for league play which will start in early November.
