Annie McKave was the overall low gross winner and Judy Scarrow scored overall lowest net at the 108 Ladies Club Championship at the 108 Golf Resort on Aug. 22-23.
Twenty-five golfers in three flights based on handicaps participated and enjoyed pleasant weather and great friendship during the annual event, while also trying for closest to the pin shots and longest drives.
In the first flight, Debbie Case was the lowest gross shooter followed by Heather Matsuda.
Carol Ohlund had the best low net score in the first flight followed by Carol Lidstone.
The second flight saw Janet Roux score lowest gross and Lorraine McCaffrey second.
Ann Pinkney shot lowest net in the second flight followed by Shannon Knapp.
Lavern Martin scored lowest gross in the third flight, with Debbie Garrow second.
Lowest net in the third flight belonged to Pauline Weigelt, followed by Millie Halcro.
McKave, Case, Scarrow, Angela Batalha and Ohlund made birdies on Aug. 22.
Clara Koehn, Matsuda, Ohlund, Scarrow and Cathy Waite made birdies on Aug. 23.
The longest drives on Aug. 22 went to Waite, Knapp and Lavern Martin on No. 16 in their respective flights.
Closest to the pin shooters on Aug. 22 were Waite, Char Wahnschaff and Darlene DeAngelis on No. 12.
On Aug. 23, Ohlund, Maureen Pinkney and Maureen Menzies shot closest to the pin on No. 4.
The long drives on Aug. 23 went to Ohlund, Knapp and Thompson on No. 3.
108 Ladies Club golfers had no problem making birdies during an Aug. 25 round at the 108 Golf Resort.
The back nine score was used with five blind holes used to calculate best gross and net scores in each flight.
The ladies also went for long drives and closest to the pin for each flight.
As the season starts to wind down, the club continues to enjoy great weather, beautiful views and friendships, says Lidstone.

Birdies were made by Maureen Menzies and Roux (on No. 11), Ohlund (No. 10), Matsuda (No. 13), Knapp (No. 17) and Joanne Garrow (No. 15).
Maureen Pinkney scored lowest gross on the blind holes in the first flight, followed by J. Garrow and Cathy Waite.
Lowest net in the first flight was Lidstone, followed by Ohlund and Knapp.
In the second flight, Garrow shot low gross, with Shirley Boyson second and Laverne Martin third.
Lynda Lewis scored lowest net in the second flight, followed by Lorraine Scott and Angela Batalha in third.
The third flight saw Eileen King shoot lowest gross, with Weigelt second lowest and Sue Pinkerton in third.
Corrine French scored lowest in the third flight, followed by Lynn Smeds and Wendy Foster in third.
Matsuda on her first shot, and Knapp and Weigelt on their second, fired closest to the pin in their respective flights on No. 10, while, Koehn, Scott and Darlene DeAngelis hit the longest drives in their flights on No. 14.
