Well, last Thursday’s men’s golf night is behind us once again. It was a cooler evening and had fewer people out, but there was enough fun and cheer for all who came and tested their game.
In flight 1 Mike Webb carried away the prize for low gross, while Ron Hadley took the one for low net. Dan Taylor was busy capturing both the long drive and the long putt. Paul Kavanagh took the K.P., and Bill Collison took the K.P. in 2.
In flight 2, Gord Vollans picked up the prize for low gross, while Murray Livingston took both low net and K.P. in 2. Mike Cline was in for hitting the longest ball, and Gary Forsythe took away the long put. Glen McNeil finished the prizes by taking the K.P.
Two door prizes were handed out; Brad Baker took home a cart pass and Murray Livingston, who was having a good night, took home a 9 hole golf pass.
Congratulations to the winners and to all who came out to play. Remember, prizes can be claimed at the front desk, and the next round will be stroke play from the white tees. Remember as well that no one claimed the duce pot on Thursday so it will be carried over.

LAW 1:
No matter how bad your last shot was, the worst is yet to come.
This law does not expire on the 18th hole, since it has the supernatural tendency to extend over the course of a tournament, a summer, and, eventually a lifetime
