Men’s golf wraps at 108

The 108 Men's Golf Club members played their last round of the regular season on Sept. 19

The 108 Men’s Golf Club members played their last round of the regular season on Sept. 19 and wrapped it up with 56 golfers on the course, dinner and prizes.

Shane Wilkie led the way with a 35 and Jim Laird finished close behind with 36. James Seeley shot a 38 and Jim Zailo and Chris Stevens each scored 39.

In second flight, Rick Lunsted was the leader with 39 and Theo Wiering took low net with a score of 33.

Reg Haggard held onto a one over par through the first five holes to help him win third flight, while Ken Brennan won low net with 34 in a count-back over Bryant Hollins.

Men’s Club will continue to play informally over the next two weeks, on Sept. 26 and Oct. 3.

Spence Henderson has handed over the reins as club captain to Bill Harris for next season.
