Having finished top of their pool, the boys face off against Squamish in the semi-final match at 9 a.m. today, Wednesday March 22.

Facing off in the other semi-final is Albertni Valley and Cranbrook.

The two winners of this morning’s games will compete for gold tonight at 7 p.m. and the bronze match will be at 4 p.m.

Last nights game was a pretty rough and messy match.

The first two periods featured some good hockey, but skill dropped off in the third period as Whitehorse chalked up a number of severe penalties, including several misconducts with players thrown out.

On the positive side, Terrace’s Brandon Onstein scored a hat trick in the game, which Terrace took 7-1.
