A quartet of Mission girls placed strongly at Langley’s Flip City gymnastic competition.
The Jan. 29-30 event saw Justine Robinson earn gold all around in P3 novice and Tamara Skulstad win gold all around in kip 2 5-7. Vanessa Beckman took gold all around in P3 tyro, while Sol Morley placed second in floor P2 tyro. Beckman also earned the floor choreography award and Skulstad was named most confident competitor.
• Ashlynn Skulstad won bronze all around, second on vault and floor at the Omega Invitational Feb. 5 in Coquitlam.
