The Mission Stars midget rep hockey team will have home ice advantage as they battle for a spot at the provincials.
Mission hosts Sunshine Coast, Semiahmoo and Squamish in the Tier 3 Final Four event, which kicks off on Friday at the Mission Leisure Centre.
The Stars are ranked first in the four-team mini-tournament, and were bumped down to Tier 3 after spending most of the season in Tier 2.
Sunshine Coast is ranked second, Semiahmoo is third and Squamish enters the event fourth overall.
All teams play each other once in the round-robin format, with the top two teams earning spots at the provincials in Terrace later this month.
Mission opens on Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Squamish in the North Arena at MLC, and then takes on Semiahmoo on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the North Arena. The Stars conclude the tournament against Sunshine Coast on Monday at 6 p.m. in the North Arena.
Several of the tournament games will also be occurring at the South Arena. All games are free for the public to attend.
