A pair of Mission Minor Lacrosse athletes are once again representing the province.
Mission natives Teagen Dunnett and Chayce Cooper both earned spots on Team B.C. for the third straight year after a tryout camp over the weekend.
The girls will join Team B.C. in the midget division at the Minor Box Lacrosse National Championships, which run from Aug. 20 to 24 in Coquitlam.
Team B.C. is expected to compete against squads from Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia at the event. Dunnett and Cooper helped lead the B.C. bantams to a silver medal at the 2018 event in Halifax, and in 2017 also helped B.C. score silver. Dunnett also helped the bantam squad to a silver in 2016.
Five other Mission lacrosse females attended the camp, but did not make the squad.
