on the island, we realize there is an opportunity to step up and become mobile.

“We understand the challenges our former students face when travelling from Vancouver Island to our Surrey location, including the extra cost of hotels, ferries and taking time off work,” a news release states. “Smaller communities don’t seem to be able to support a permanent motorcycle school.”

PRS offers an ICBC-certified MSA course and a BMW Enduro Certified course. The school has 27 instructors, men and women.

“Our graduates routinely describe their PRS experience as ‘unique’, ‘different’, ‘original’ and ‘unconventional’. Our reputation challenges the status quo and we continue to make each year more exciting, creative

and multi-dimensional for our students, to give them the best possible experience. Our goal is to do more than just produce licensed riders, we prepare you for real life scenarios. We teach the psychological aspects of riding and overcoming your natural body overrides, a component of our program that we call, Performance Under Stress.”

During training, two-way radios enable staff to provide instant feedback to students, which helps improve skills and confidence while navigating roads.
